It seems that for the time being the movie that Chad Michael Murray announced ealier this year Stealing Cars has been tabled. It has now been removed from his IMDB.com profile.
According to some sources these reasons maybe reasons why the project has been tabled.
1) The funding fell through
2) They had not found a director
3) Chad's injury
Chad mentions Stealing Cars in the new issue of Teen People but I belivie the article was done before he actually knew for sure that the movie won't be happening right now.

And as always remeber that you can catch Chad in One Tree Hill on it's new night Wedensday at 8pm. The new season of One Tree Hill will start October 5th.
